What is Century barn's guest capacity?
Century Barn has a capacity of up to 140 of your guests.
What is your Hold policy and how do we secure our date?
Century Barn manages bookings on a first come first served basis. This avoids any disappointment and complications with our event hosts. To book your event, Century Barn requires a deposit accompanied by a completed, signed contract. 
How many events do you book per day?
Century Barn will only host one event per day. You will have exclusive use of the barn and property, and our full attention to ensure that everything goes according to plan. 
Should we hire a wedding planner or day-of coordinator?
You are not required to have a planner, however a day-of coordinator is required to help manage the details of your event and facilitate the pack up and load out of everything at the end of the night.  Our executive catering option and Friday/Sunday all-inclusive packages already include this service.   
If We curate Our event ourselves, How do We source vendors?
We have a listing of preferred vendors that will be made available for clients that have booked the venue as a stand-alone option.  Should you wish to use vendors not on our list, a site visit and meeting must be arranged as soon as possible following  your booking and a landmark fee may apply.
How does the DIY bar work?
The Do-It-Yourself Bar allows for event hosts to supply there own alcohol for their event. This is an excellent way to manage your budget and select products that you like. The DIY bar requires that the event hosts hire our exclusive bar tending team and they must obtain:
  • A Special Occasions Permit from the LCBO
  • Party Alcohol Liability Insurance

​Century Barn has trusted and experienced bartender services to manage your bar and ensure your guests are served responsibly and safely. This service is separate from your venue rental, and is mandatory.  Upon securing your booking, Century Barn will connect you with the service to discuss and plan your bar needs. Rates are competitive and may vary depending on your guest count and the hours required. Event hosts will be required to confirm booking of the bartender along with the SOP and PAL certifications one month before your event. 
What is included with our booking?
Included in your booking is exclusive use of the bridal suite, furnished loft, ceremony garden, barn for reception, all available Century Barn decor and furniture (including tables and banquet chairs), permanent bar and beer taps, permanent chandelier lighting fixtures, built-in washroom facilities, unlimited guest parking, Century Barn support staff, caterer prep pad and acres of picturesque fields. You will also have the option to schedule a one-hour rehearsal* prior to your event. 

*Rehearsal time is reserved on the Thursday evening before your wedding unless alternate arrangements are made.  
what happens if it rains the day of our wedding?
Whether a drizzle or a downpour, there is no reason your day should be anything less than spectacular.  At a moments notice, Century Barn is able to transform the upper loft gallery into an alter area complete with arbor, draperies and lights.  For couples wanting to brave the elements, there are umbrellas to share.
Can we use real candles as part of our decor?
Candles, cigarettes and open flames of ANY kind are strictly prohibited in and around the barn.
Is century barn a smoke free venue
Century Barn has a DESIGNATED SMOKER'S SHELTER that is strictly monitored.  Cigarettes, and open flames of ANY kind are strictly prohibited in and around the barn.
